Swimming for a cure
The Lake Geneva Swimming Association is proud to host the Maillot d’Or in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity.
Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40, yet less than 3% of the £700m annual cancer research funding in the UK goes into brain tumours. For some of the most aggressive tumour types, the average survival time is just 12 months. This has to change. The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.
With unapologetically ambitious goals of doubling survival rates and halving the harm that brain tumours have on quality of life, The Brain Tumour Charity is committed to saving and improving lives, set on finding new treatments, driving urgent change and offering the highest level of support to patients and their families. A cure can’t wait.
